  • Personal data and former education: Ljubomir Pavlović was born on 15 April, 1980 in Niš. He initiated his University studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš – Department of Physical Education in 1999. In 2011 he finished his Basic four-year Studies at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Niš. He enrolled in Doctoral Academic Studies at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Niš in 2012. During his Doctoral Studies he was engaged as a demonstrator and associate for Handball and Skiing. He defended his Doctoral Thesis "Interseasonal Variations of Certain Motor and Physiological Parameters in Handball Players" in 2015. He is the author of a large number of scientific papers related with sport and physical education published in both national and international scientific journals.

    He is married to Milica with whom he has two children, daughter Una and son Luka.

  • Professional data: He has practiced tennis since the age of 7. During 10 years of active tennis practice he was a member of the following tennis clubs: "Radnički" from Niš and "Maks" from Belgrade and all that time he was always at the top of the ranking list within the age categories of the former SFRJ and SRJ. He participated in one of the most prestigious tournaments for younger categories Orange Bowl Floridа, USA in 1995.

    After his tennis career he started practicing handball before, during and after his University studies at the highest international level. He was a member of clubs with the highest competition ranking in Serbia, Switzerland and Spain with which he won State Champion titles and competed in the Champions League and European Cups.

    He was a member of the senior national team of Serbia with which he participated in 42 international matches. As a member of the junior national team of Serbia, he was the winner of the European Championship in Athens, Greece in 2000 where he was proclaimed the best player and the best shooter of the Championship. During his sports career he won numerous individual awards and among which the award for the best athlete of the City of Niš in 2000.
